Meet The Team
Miami gifts us its multiculturality. Being a resident and musician in this city, we have two options:
Continue holding on to traditions as they are causing them to stagnate or bring the richness of their elements into the diversity that is part of the city's pulse.
In this case, I decided to run with the second. In Ensemble we welcome the experiences and knowledge we each bring, along with the essence of our countries and cultures, and utilize them as a bridge for dialogue. In ensemble, Adolfo Herrera (Venezuela), Niurca Márquez (Cuba-US), Kenneth Jimenez (Costa Rica-US) and myself (Spain) allow the weavings of centuries of contact to come forward for today's audience.
Ensemble is a mixture of all this in real-time... A new sound created from the roots of our traditions, blended in the melting pot that is Miami.
Music doesn't understand borders, creeds or languages. It does not discriminate between sexes, races or beliefs. Music is the language of the soul.

Light plot is available upon request. In the case of small spaces with limited ighting, plot will be adjusted accordingly. Please contact the technical director with any questions.
